Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki - a real life look at what the rich teach their children that the poor do not.  This New York Times bestseller is an absolute MUST for everyone no matter where you are financially.

Real Estate Investing for Dummies by Eric Tyson & Robert S. Griswold - a wonderful look into real estate investing that is written for the average reader.  This guide is a great start for both novice and experienced investors. 

The Weekend Landlord by James A. Landon - a great guide for landlords that do not make real estate investing their career.  Includes a cd with documents such as Tenant Application, Lease Agreement, etc.  A must have for all beginning investors.

Failing Forward by John C. Maxwell - a must read for making all aspects of your life better.  Learn how and why you should learn from life's adversities.
